Bruno Souza, who visited us at the roastery a couple of years ago is the owner of Fazenda Esperança. This family-owned farm has been under the Souza family's care since 1969 and is nestled on the high arid plateau of Cerrado Mineiro in the town of Campos Altos, Minas Gerais. With a rich history of coffee production dating back to the 1860s, Bruno's expertise and dedication have contributed to the farm's success.

Founded in 2018 by 18 woman diagnosed with HIV positive women, Ituze Women Collective has overcome many challenges, they have worked incredibly hard to create a better future for themselves and their families.

The women of Ituze selectively handpick ripe, red cherry and deliver it to Ngamba washing station. At intake, specially trained staff float cherry to remove underripes and then visually inspect cherry and remove any defects. Cherry is pulped and fermented for 10 to 12 hours in fermentation tanks.

Tasting Notes:       Lychee and blackcurrant with smooth dark chocolate and praline body and long lasting finish.

    About The Coffee

Our popular house blend is back!

We've carefully selected and sourced our beans to create a flavour profile that will appeal to discerning palates on a longer run seasonal basis. The Cure is delicious, with an excellent balance of body and acidity, perfect as an espresso or long black, but also delicious in milk as a hot coffee or an iced drink. It's designed to be easy to dial in on both stovetop moka pots or prosumer espresso machines (Sage, Gaggia, Breville, Pavoni, etc).

We know you're always on the hunt for the next great coffee experience, and we're confident that The Cure will not disappoint.
