Rugali coffee washing station sees an annual production of approximately 54,000kg of milled green coffee each year. The drying conditions at Rugali are ideal for ensuring optimal post-pulp drying, where coffee is laid on drying beds between 12pm and 3pm, to ensure maximum exposure to the sun during the warmest time of the day.
Rugali has five full time staff & expands to 180 seasonal workers during peak season, with 124 drying table for the 1,150 farmers that provide cherries to the station. our importers work directly with small producers across five washing stations in Rwanda & are dedicated to improving farming practices & quality for the producer's livelihoods & their customers.
